When you think of Killington, you think of superlatives: 33 lifts, 140 named trails, 750 skiable acres (500 with snowmaking), a 3,050-foot vertical drop, and the longest trail (Juggernaut, > 6 miles). No resort in the East, and few anywhere, can match all of this. Killington has plenty to strut about, and in its nickname, “Beast of the East,” it does just that. Killington’s reputation has taken some hits. Three years ago, Powdr Corp. bought the property from the ailing American Ski Company….

I have a Jeep and a jet ski, i am not a spoiled kid….Jet ski i’m footing the bill for as well as Jeep, minus insurance….My old ski was gonna take alot to fix and use again when it wasn’t worth it….Once i got rid of my boat, i got my ski to use as it’s a reliable craft with the comfort and control that my old broken beaten ski didn’t have anymore….

I love these skis but I need to give up on the free heal world, my knees are toast….The Rossignol Sick Bird twintip telemark ski flies over powder on its beefy 98-millimeter waist and destroys crud like a cocky bastard….These skis are in excellent condition. No big scratches and skis were recently tuned….

Hit Plattekille for the day and ended up skiing with the ski patrol…for almost 8 hours. Started the day on some freshies that fell over night. the whole place was bumped up and I wanted to try out the new boards. they work great in t eh bumps and cutr through everything easily. blockbuster had huge moguls, plunge was tight, even the northface had a good field. Stayed on the double chair most of the day and ended up closing the mountain around 5pm…wiped! …

Spent the night in the Forrester Lodge.which is still buried, 10 foot mound in front of my door, same as friday morning, same room. Started off with Hellgate which was groomed. i wanted to see how the new boards would do on a groomed surface, they rip, now if it was icey…then headed over to the Cliff which was moguled up and off to Ike which was groomed again. Did a few runs off the face then to racers Edge which was bumped top to bottom. Off to the west side..holy crap what a bump fest….
